By time τ=49 minutes, 30 industries are considered to be present which were not at τ=0. The panel below shows the complexity potential of Medellín and its surrounding municipalities as the commuting time τ increases. We observe that, for example, when τ=49 minutes, Rionegro is considered to be part of Medellín and so they merge into a single (and higher complexity potential) city
