Sensitivity of our results with regard to the choice of k. We visualize the fraction of the minority in the top k ranked nodes as a function of k, for different retain rates for majority associated noise. The solid line is the mean while the enveloping curve represent the range of values obtained in 10 iterations. Ties are resolved randomly. Due to large noise for the top ranked position we only start visualising for k > 10. We see that the effects displayed in Fig. 3 for k = 100 are representative for a wider range of k values
