Structure of topology B. The lung is divided into 10 patches. Patches are assigned into zones based on their vertical position (blue = Zone 1, yellow = Zone 2, red = Zone 3). All patches are connected, and patches within the same lobe (S = Superior lobe, M = Middle lobe, I = Inferior lobe) have greater edge width. All lung patches are connected to/from the LymphPatch by a LymphEdge and a BloodEdge (both edges denoted by a single dotted red line)
