Normalization of ranking results obtained with the publication count method for the TREM2 molecule. First, a non-normalized version of the publication count ranking is applied to all authors who have at least one publication on TREM2 or any molecule associated with TREM2 in our network. Then, the top 120 names are selected from the resulting list. Finally, we separately apply normalization and the hypergeometric method to each author in the list and show how this affects the rankings
