The simulations were computed on a population of \(n=400\) individuals in the DDE model on the HNM, and each datapoint is the average of 4800 independent realizations except for the SG algorithm, which was run with 192 independent realizations. The confidence intervals for the source identification probabilities are computed using the Wilson score interval method, and for the tests and the queries using the Student’s t-distribution
